Decorative knots
The knots shown here are all very suitable for decorative purposes. Most of them also have practical purposes, but because they look so nice they are often used for decoration. Decoration with knots comes in many forms. It can be as simple as hanging curtains with a Larks head, but also the creation of a coaster in the form of a rope mat. And who hasn't seen the pictures frames with the most famous sailing knots?
