The Diamond Knot is mostly used to tie off paracord creations like survival bracelets, where it acts as a stopper knot to tie off the paracord creation. It is also often used for creating a decorative loop at the end or in the middle of a rope, for example for soft shackles.

Remarks

We used large, clearly visible rope to tie the Diamond Knot in this tutorial, but you can of course tie the Diamond Knot with any sort of rope.
